We build the tool we’d want at 2am.

Pulsar Dynamics is the new name of 71 Labs, a software engineering company based in the United Arab Emirates. For years we have built the systems that businesses run their day on. We still do. Pulsar is that same team and the same standard, under a name that reflects everything we now build.

The same team, a new name

You may know us as 71 Labs. Under that name we designed tailored operational systems for teams that need clearer workflows, stronger control, and reliable day-to-day execution: HR workspaces, restaurant service floors, retail and inventory operations, and financial dashboards, each one built around how a specific business actually works rather than around what was convenient to ship.

That work continues exactly as before, under the Pulsar Dynamics name. The change is one of scope, not direction. The same team and the same standard now cover both the systems we build to order and a line of desktop products anyone can install.

Building systems that businesses depend on daily taught us something that carries directly into those products. Software earns trust in the bad moments, not the good ones. Nobody remembers the afternoon the system behaved. They remember the night it didn’t, and whether the thing in front of them helped or made it worse.

Why Pulsar Dynamics exists

The tools people turn to in a crisis are often the least trustworthy software they own. A drive fails and the recovery tool wants to write to it. A computer misbehaves and the diagnostic shows a made-up score and one enormous Fix button. A file looks suspicious and the scanner returns a green tick it cannot actually justify.

We think that is backwards. The higher the stakes, the more the software owes you a clear account of what it is doing and a way back if you don’t like the result. Pulsar Dynamics is a growing family of desktop applications built on that premise.

How we build

  1. The workflow comes first

    We map how the job is actually done before a line of interface is designed, so the tool fits the work instead of forcing you into a workaround.

  2. Calm beats clever

    Restrained, readable interfaces that stay legible under pressure. Nothing flashes, nothing nags, and nothing invents urgency to get your attention.

  3. Built to extend

    Every release is a foundation rather than a finished box. Reporting, formats and integrations grow without the product having to be rebuilt underneath you.

  4. Your data is yours

    Your files, drives and reports stay on your machine. We have no interest in collecting them, and the products are built so we cannot.

  5. Reversible by default

    Originals are preserved, sources are read-only, and anything consequential leaves a record you can undo.

  6. Signed and verified

    Clean builds, pinned dependencies and signed binaries, so you can confirm that what you installed is what we shipped.

Alongside the products, we still design and deliver custom operational software: staff and HR management, restaurant service, retail and inventory, financial reporting, and whatever else your operation actually runs on. We map the workflow before we build, so the system fits the way you work instead of forcing you into someone else’s process.

Where the products are

Every Pulsar Dynamics application is in active development. We would rather ship them when they hold up than announce a date we cannot keep, so there is no countdown on this site.
